Description Manuel Hiebel 2012-10-05 15:06:11 CEST
Description of problem:

Currently it seems there is no way to search in a particular groups of package.

It can be usefull to search something like now any *doc* in the Documentation groups as they are merged here.

Great idea.
With a general idea of what one is searching for, and knowing the probable rpm group, it can be frustrating to have to scan a list of dozens if not hundreds of packages.

Also, if the search is for something other than in the package names (it could be in the summary, the description, or file names), a search inside an rpm group will be much faster, particularly if the search includes packages not yet installed (as is usually the case).
