Description of problem: After first reboot of mga3alpha2 loaded fglrx and broadcom-wl driver. The result is that drakconf is no more installed and conflicts with kernel-desktop-devel-3.5.4-1.mga3-1-1.mga3.i586 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Mageia 3 Alpha 2 How reproducible: Install Mageia 3 Alpha 2, install fglrx and broadcom-wl driver Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install Mageia 3 Alpha 2 2.install fglrx and broadcom-wl driver 3. When tryed to install manually : # uname -a Linux localhost 3.5.4-desktop-1.mga3 #1 SMP Sat Sep 15 10:25:13 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux # urpmi drakconf The following package has to be removed for others to be upgraded: kernel-desktop-devel-3.5.4-1.mga3-1-1.mga3.i586 (due to conflicts with arch(x86_64)) (y/N)

The problem it has been resolved with the help of tmb. It was a mirror not updated that caused the wrong i586 package download instead of x86_64. Stblack
