oxygen-gtk works bad in LXDE. Users can not create links and files on Desktop, because mouse moving does not work with any object on Desktop. If to change theme, then mouse moving works well.

I think, Alex just can't move apps icons with mouse. He said that the problem is in the GTK+ theme used in LXDE by default. I agree with Manuel, removing oxygen-gtk is a bad idea, but it's needed to be fixed or replaced to another theme. First of all, it's necessary to reproduce this bug.

Problem with oxygen-gtk is more deep. User wrote http://forum.mageialinux.ru/viewtopic.php?pid=4105#p4105 that with oxygen-gtk in LXDE Main Menu closes not always, but without oxygen-gtk in LXDE Main Menu closes always.
It is problem not only with moving. It's problem with animation the active icons (files) and not active icons (files) on the desktop. It's problem with running applications when using double click on the desktop's icons and etc.
Comment 7 Valek Saikov 2012-09-29 10:32:52 CEST
Confirmed. When installed with LiveCD and selecting DE LXDE icons do not move.
If you change the default theme (oxygen-gtk) to another, then everything starts to work properly, corrected.

I have the same problem when using LXDE & oxyge-gtk theme.

Reproducing:
1. Switch DE to LXDE
2. Switch theme to oxygen-gtk
After thoose actions icons (application icons, folders, files, etc.) on desktop don't moving. They (icons) become look like stuck to desktop.

Solution:
Swith theme to any other differ from oxygen-gtk.
