Description Matteo Pasotti 2012-09-22 18:03:50 CEST
I have uploaded an updated package for Mageia 2.

You can test this by installing livecd-tools and verifying that isomd5sum is installed as a requirement.

Suggested advisory:
========================

Updated livecd-tools package fixes an issue:

Andres Kaaber found an issue running livecd-iso-to-disk 14.3-2
where the script was failing because isomd5sum package was missing.

isomd5sum will be installed but I've got following:

[root@Rechner Mageia-2-dual-CD]# livecd-iso-to-disk Mageia-2-dual-CD.iso /dev/sdb
Verifying image...

The media check is complete, the result is: NA.

No checksum information available, unable to verify media.
Are you SURE you want to continue?
Press Enter to continue or ctrl-c to abort

Is this just working with special iso files?

Alfred pointed me in the right direction:

1. implanting as first step the md5 into the iso with implantisomd5
2. then I've got following result:
[root@Rechner Mageia-2-dual-CD]# livecd-iso-to-disk Mageia-2-dual-CD.iso /dev/sdb
Verifying image...
/media/Daten/iso/Mageia-2-dual-CD/Mageia-2-dual-CD.iso: ba36e11c0806c0dda14f447a80772db4
Fragment sums: cda65a4674c6c4f1a422ef3bd24ad9828ee41d63db8263f7bf974dcdcacc
Fragment count: 20
Press [Esc] to abort check.
Checking: 100.0%

The media check is complete, the result is: PASS.

It is OK to use this media.
USB filesystem must be vfat, ext[234] or btrfs
Cleaning up to exit...
