Description of problem: The makewhatis cron scripts generate a lot of IO after login. This is noticeable on old computers. It would probably help to use "ionice -c3 -p $$" as is done by msec in /usr/share/msec/security.sh Maybe other scripts in cron.daily can also benefit from this. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): man-1.6g-6.mga2.src.rpm How reproducible: Wait until cron runs makewhatis.cron daily and weekly.
