Description claire robinson 2012-09-11 11:04:16 CEST
I installed with mysql backend and root mysql login given in the web based installation. When it reached the last stage and asks if you want to skip the configuration questions I chose to go straight to downloading LocalSettings.php.

I moved LocalSettings.php into the installation directory /var/www/html/wiki/

It then couldn't connect to the database and seemed to have missed the database username, it gave an error trying to connect to ''@localhost

Pressing back a few times to try it again, I went through the last stages of configuration and downloaded and moved LocalSettings.php again and this time it worked OK.

I tried to check the database users with phpmyadmin but that doesn't actually work at the moment.

Just realised you've built the new one into updates_testing, I'll retest

I can't reproduce this with testing version so closing.
