Description of problem: After installing XFCE (task-xfce and task-xfce-plugins) with MCC on an installation with other environment (KDE and Gnome) I found double icons on power management and audio. The Bug seems very similar to : https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2208 Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Install task-xcfe4 and task-xfce-plugins Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
I'd say it's more like a feature than a bug. You have now power manager and mixer from Xfce and from some other DE and they all gets started. You could try to disable GNOME/KDE services from starting with Xfce. Another possible solution is to disable unwanted programs from Xfce's autorun settings.
