halibut has been submitted by Sander Lepik to core/updates_testing for Mageia 1 several months ago. It should be either assigned to qa-bugs@ml.mageia.org with an updated summary, list of SRPM and RPMs, proposal advisory and if possible steps for testing basic functionality, or removed (if so, rename the bug report and assign to sysadmin-bugs@ml.mageia.org).
I think it was submitted because of this bug: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1425 - it's needed to build putty. So i'm actually not sure what to do with it. It's not needed for anything else at the moment and there are no good ways to test it. Or well, it's already tested by building putty so it could be pushed into updates i think?
If it was needed to build putty then it should have been part of the same update. I think we can safely push it. To sysadmins: please push halibut-1.0-1.20100504svn8934.1.mga1 It's a buildrequires for putty, which was forgotten by the packager when putty was pushed. Advisory: This adds halibut to Mageia 1, a build dependency for putty. It was forgotten when putty was pushed to the updates media.
