As noted in bug 7126, glpi should have a requires added for php-mbstring. Also when the license is displayed for acceptance, it's blank.

The license was displayed and php-mbstring shows in the requires. Testing Mageia 2 i586 shortly.

Fixed in mageia 1 also, by glpi-0.78.2-2.4.mga1 just submitted to updates_testing.
mga1 isn't supported anymore, and mga2 update has been tested and pushed. I'm closing the ticket.
