Skype-rec dates back to 2005. Is it still working on modern systems with modern versions of Skype?

It didn't last time I checked, probably around the time of this bug. I have not looked at this again since, but I found my initial spec and it does build, so if someone wishes to do some testing, there is a package for cauldron here: http://mtf.no-ip.co.uk/pub/linux/barjac/distrib/cauldron/x86_64/media/extra/release/skype-rec-1.0-1.mga5.x86_64.rpm I can't currently build i586 version due to URPM/mirror issues, but I will when possible - just replace 'x86_64' with 'i586' in the above in a day or so.
I have mailed the author to check if the project is dead or alive.
Assigning this package request to all packagers collectively. On a voluntary basis, one of them might want to integrate it to the distribution and maintain it for bug and security fixes. You might also want to join the packager team to maintain this piece of software: see https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Becoming_a_Mageia_Packager

There has been no activity upstream since 2005. There has been no response to bug reports or help requests and I never got a reply to my email. So it is dead. Closing.
