Description of problem: When I try to create the DVD file structure from an mp4 file, I get the message "Omzetting mislukt. Het lijkt een fout in Mencoder."Something like. Conversion failed. Looks like a Mencoder error. But ffmpeg is used! I am not sure if this bug is a duplicate. The errormessage is not the same and might be caused by something else.
I am not convinced this is a duplicate either. I have some interesting input to add. I get the error reported on this bug on one of my machines (machine1) but not the other (machine2). While I am not trying to build a dvd I get it when converting any mp4 file to mpeg. TO me that indicates that this is caused by a package incompatibility. Either a package is missing on machine1 or it has additional packages installed that makes it unable to work. Interestingly I can play mp4 using totem without any trouble. I will post the results of my comparisons on this issue. Marcel, if you want to help me, you can attach a list of all your installed packages to this issue, or mail it straight to me if you do not want them indexed by google. You can get such a list by typing "rpm -qa > installedPackages.txt" in a terminal (without the quotes of course).
