Hmmm The trash doesn't work at all in a minimal lxde installation. I'll have to check with a "fuller" installation, perhaps some runtime dep is missing. Adding pcmanfm maintainer to cc, 'cause that's actually his package...

It is also present in Mga 3 alpha 2 The problem seems to be related to lxdm If I log into LXDE using lxdm then clicking on the trash icon in pcmanfm does not show anything although I can send things to the trash OK and they appear in ~/.local/share/Trash If I log in using gdm, then the trash works OK in pcmanfm

Correction to Comment 2 It is not logging in with gdm that makes the Trash start to work. It is simply logging out and logging in again that fixes it. On logging out ~/.config/libfm/libfm.conf is created. On logging in again with lxdm the trash works OK. I did note that when logging in with lxdm ~/.bashrc and ~/.bash_profile are not created, but I suppose that is a separate bug.

Sorry, but this bug saw no action since over 2 yrs ago. No cauldron package has stayed the same since then. Closing as OLD Please reopen if this report is still valid for _current_ cauldron and/or fully updated Mageia 4
