Please test new akonadi-google in updates_testing
Patch is already added in our akonadi-google on svn : r259410 | mikala | 2012-06-10 13:03:11 -0300 (dim. 10 juin 2012) | 2 lignes - Add patch100 to fix kde #301240 (Parsing tokens failed sometimes) suggested by Dimitrios Glentakadis However it's under the queue for validation : We need to validate Qt, then KDE, so i can push it (it was tested locally only under Qt 4.8.2 & KDE 4.8.4 so i don't want to eventually « rebuild » it because it was broken due to update )

as we already new qt and kde on updates_testing this is harmless to push it and no rebuild should be needed.
(In reply to comment #3) > as we already new qt and kde on updates_testing this is harmless to push it and > no rebuild should be needed. KDE is waiting for Qt validation to be pushed but it should be indeed harmless.

I'm trying to understand: can we push this update or is there a requirement for it such as pushing QT before (I don't remember a recent QT update candidate)?
Whiteboard: has_procedure => has_procedure feedback
It should wait kde updates, also it was pushed during Qt updates (so built against the later).

I just installed the KDE updates, which has akonadi-google-0.3.1-1.mga2, and still no luck with google calendar on Kontact/Korganizer. Just to be sure, was the fix supposed to come on this update or not yet?
The kde update does *not* come with akonadi-google 0.3.1 & does not expect to fix any akonadi google related error. I just asked to not push this update until the KDE update. I'll work (this week end) on this issue (& others update for mga2 depending of this update). Anyway the akonadi-google-0.3.1-1 pushed by neoclust *has* the patch which prevent the « parse error » on authentification so you should not face this error if you have this package (& the libraries depending of the src.rpm) so i guess you might not updated all requested packages or the error is something else. Regards,
It works! I installed the rpm built from the SRC and now I have my Google calendar in Korganizer. Thanks a lot.
