This package is already available in Mandriva repos (http://svn.mandriva.com/viewvc/packages/updates/2010.1/safecopy/releases/1.6/1mdv2010.1/) I join a spec file for the version 1.7 I do not have old devide to test the package but it seems to wrok correctly. This update fixes this issue by providing safecopy to Mageia distribution.
