Yeah, maybe a backport, the other version was requested to fix the old version broke on amd64 machines with phenoms. this is just a "me want new shineys" request :P

i did a rpmbuild -ba of this on 2, and it seems to work as it should, the newer features was enabled in the conf file (16 com ports, EMS page table enhancements etc) but cant test on pure i586 as I run only x86_64.

Mageia 2 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on ''22 November''. Mageia 2 is no
longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or
bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this request.
