Description of problem: Depending on the window manager used, and the theme selected, then the Tools>Preferences menu of lives does not work. It is not possible to switch between menu categories on the left hand side. Combinations of WM/theme which have been tried are :- XFCE - Oxygen-gtk theme NOT OK XFCE Raleigh theme OK LXDE Any theme NOT OK Openbox Any theme NOT OK KDE Plastic NOT OK KDE Air NOT OK KDE Laptop NOT OK Gnome Adwaita theme OK Gnome Oxygen-gtk theme NOT OK Gnome HighContrast theme OK Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): lives-1.6.2-1.1.mga2 This problem was first reported in Bug 5413

This bug has been fixed in more recent versions of LiVES.
Ok, so there might be a way to backport the fix to Mageia 2 (and Mageia 3 maybe, depending on when it was fixed upstream). Would you like to look at it?
