Please test new audacious [1] from core/updates_testing and audacious-plugins [2] pkgs from core/updates_testing and tainted/updates_testing. New version is a bug fix release and it fixes several bugs reported to upstream [3]. [1] audacious-3.2.4-1.mga2 [2] audacious-plugins-3.2.4-1.mga2 [3] http://audacious-media-player.org/news
Testing complete on Mageia 2 i586. I'm able to play a music file, but it's adding noise so it sounds like a slightly scratched vinyl record. The same song at the same volume played using the play command does not have the added noise. The same thing happens with the current version in Core Updates, so this is not a regression.
