after reopening kontact, i have no folders anymore.

anyone have any idea how to workaround this?

manually stopping akonadi ; waiting until everything was stopped and starting it before opening kontact seemed to work.

hmm, is 4.8.4 gonna be done as update? shouldn't it be backports?

4.8.x are bugfix release, so as we done for mga1 by providing kde 4.6.5 we'll provide kde 4.8.4 for now (& 4.8.5 soon).
Not to mentionned that backports are still not working ;o)

is there a QA validation bug where we can find all the packages related/dependant for KDE? and where we can notify validation tests?
