Description of problem: I've reinstalled both Windows 7 64-bit along with Mageia 2 64-bit version like 10 times & each time I try to boot Windows 7-entry from GRUB-menu it fails & says that BOOMGR is missing. There's a Boot-repair function on the Windows 7 64-bit DVD that should repair the bootloader & this doesn't do the trick all the times I've tried. I'll upload all the needed info that I know of as an attachment. How reproducible: All the time. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Windows 7 64-bit. 2. Fully update Windows. 3. Install Mageia 2 using the DVD-iso. 4. Now, try to boot Winddows 7 from GRUB-menu. 5. Voila! It fails.

According to BootInfoScript output, sda2 is marked bootable and is obviously drive C, but bootmgr is on sda1. So please try this: title windows rootnoverify (hd0,0) chainloader +1 makeactive I have seen the order of the makeactive/chainloader commands make a difference in the past.
