Description of problem: There seems to be missing labels for the "undo" and "clear display" button in glcalctool. Instead of showing the correct labels, both buttons are adorned with prohibition signs. The problem is purely aesthetic as the button tooltips help identify the buttons and they operate as intended when clicked upon. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gcalctool-6.4.1.1-1.mga2 How reproducible: Everytime I launch the calculator tool. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Launch calculator program. 2. Notice missing button labels. 3.

works better with gnome-icon-theme and gnome-icon-theme-symbolic installed ?
The laptop on which I reported the bug has died. I just got a new one but I haven't gotten around to installing mageia yet. I will report back once I get that done. I'll check to see if if those two packages are installed by default.
So I went ahead and installed mageia from the gnome Live CD. Gcalctool has the correct icons as expected. I believe I reported the bug too quickly. There is a bug since those packages you mentioned above aren't pulled when you install gcalctool separately. But this issue is mentioned in the errata so it is known bug.
oh I have not seen that it's in the errata, perfect, anyway closing as duplicate of a same bug. thanks *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 5132 ***
