All machines running NVidia Optimus (intel graphics + nvidia graphics generally) need Bumblebee (http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=OTQxNg)

It's major for usability, please add it when time permits. Currently I can only use my intel chipset, so I am migrating off Mageia for now

Nvidia Optimus is for managing NVidia optimus - for laptops that have both an integrated graphics card as well as a dedicated, the optimus thing basically is a power management tool that determines what card gets used when. So, for basic use, the low power integrated is on, for heavy 3d stuff the nvidia one is on. but in the case of linux, nvidia didnt write the driver for optimus and we have bumblebee to do it, but theres no mageia package. tried to build it myself but I am too inexperienced I suppose
