Description of problem: If you just open a terminal-window it resizes itself to a smaller size. That shouldn't happen. I've managed to reproduce that issue several times. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.4.1 How reproducible: Everytime. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mageia 2 with KDE4. 2. Boot & login to KDE. 3. Open gnome-terminal. 4. Voila! The window resizes automatically in front of you.

I can confirm that under KDE indeed. Also, the first 2 times I tried to start it I got: $ gnome-terminal ** ERROR:terminal-app.c:1449:terminal_app_init: assertion failed: (app->default_profile_id != NULL) Abandon Then I started it from my other screen, the main one, it started ok, and now I can start it on the screen where it failed previously. But I'm getting away from the initial automated resize issue :)
