Hi, before I have used Mandriva and I used KRecipes application there. I have many recipes stored in its DB and now I need to use them when I switched to Mageia. It is very good application and it is written for KDE which I prefer to use.
Hi Hristo, The reason krecipes is not in Mageia yet is that krecipes has not been completely ported to qt4, and Mageia does not support qt3 applications. However, krecipes is now in beta phase for its qt4 port, so you can expect to see krecipes in Mageia Cauldron quite soon, for inclusion in Mageia 3. Backporting to Mageia 2 will also be possible when krecipes in Cauldron will be stable enough.

Hi Hristo, krecipes 2.0 beta2 is now in Cauldron and will be in Mageia 3. Once the backports are opened, we can add it to Mageia 2 for you to enjoy. It'll probably be in a couple of weeks.

Mageia 2 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on ''22 November''. Mageia 2 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result and as this request is fixed in mga3 we are closing it. -- The Mageia Bugsquad
