Description of problem: This is only a request, nothing's wrong. Having installed the LXDE desktop environment, I think the default settings for the panel make the various widgets look rather squashed together. I know the user can edit the settings, but to me it doesn't create a good first impression. I see the spacers are set to 2 or 4 pixels and I wonder whether you could perhaps use a default setting of, say, 12 or 15 pixels which would make it look nicer to start with, especially for users who are new to LXDE. I am biased because LXDE is my favourite DE these days and I wish all the main Linux distros would promote it more. It's simple and uncluttered and a nice alternative to GNOME 2. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.

We use upstream default settings there. All we did to customize the lxpanel was to remove some plugins and add some others. Will look at default settings and see what my personal taste says about the space width :D
Sorry, but this bug saw no action since over 2 yrs ago. No cauldron package has stayed the same since then. Closing as OLD Please reopen if this report is still valid for _current_ cauldron and/or fully updated Mageia 4
