Description Vulix 2012-06-04 09:06:29 CEST
I tried to connect to my university's VPN service hosted on Cisco hardware. I manage to create an IPSec tunnel with the VPN service and receive a welcome message, but no traffic passes through. I just receive an error that says "destination hosts unreachable". I have tried both networkmanager-vpnc (GUI) as well as manually setting up the connection in terminal and nothing works. I didn't know if the problem was something I was doing or if it was Linux, so I ended up trying a Linux Mint live cd and was able to successfully use the VPN service. Seems to be something wrong with the Mageia package?

Nevermind, I'm an idiot and forgot to configure the firewall built into Mageia
