With the dual cd, at the end of install, checking for updates ... To satisfy dependencies, the following packages are going to be installed: drakconf-12.30-1.mga2.noarch drakconf-icons-12.30-1.mga2.noarch mageia-gfxboot-theme-4.4.5.7-2.mga2.i586 mageia-release-Default-2-4.mga2.i586 mageia-release-common-2-4.mga2.i586 mageia-theme-Default-1.5.0.28-4.mga2.noarch mageia-theme-common-1.5.0.28-4.mga2.noarch Looks like the dual-cd was built only with the release repositories, and did not include the updates repository.

This bug is not about isos but packages
Status: REOPENED => RESOLVEDResolution: (none) => FIXED
This bug is affected by bug 2317. At end of upgrade using dual cd, updates failed due to missing dependencies. I'll sort out which dependencies need to be linked from Mageia 2 Core Release to Mageia 2 Core Updates shortly. Note that this is not a problem with the iso image.
Could someone from the sysadmin team link the following srpms from Mageia 2 Core Release to Mageia 2 Core Updates. mageia-kde4-config-common plasma-applet-icontasks This is a variation of bug 2317 I haven't considered before. Any package that a user has from Mageia 1, that isn't on the iso image they are using to upgrade, and that has an update available in Mageia 2 will cause the update at the end of upgrade to fail, due to bug 2317. For updates that fail, simply running urpmi --auto-select after rebooting and configuring the media, will fix those, it won't fix the problem where the missing dependencies cause other packages to be removed, so the solution is the same as other bug 2317 problems.
