Description of problem: I installed three langpacks for spell-checking in thunderbird: thunderbird-fr-10.0.4-2.mga2 (strange this package has no dialect associated) thunderbird-en_GB-10.0.4-2.mga2 thunderbird-es_AR-10.0.4-2.mga2 When I write an email and I try to select the language to be used for spell-checking, instead of finding three options I find much more. When looking closely, I found that only the three languages I installed are available, but each language has ALL their dialects (not just those I installed). es-AR es-BO es-CL ... fr-FR fr-LU ... en-AG en-AU ... Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Thunderbird 10.0.4 How reproducible: Everytime. Steps to Reproduce: (I have my GUI in Spanish, so the labels might differ) - urpmi thunderbird-es_AR - launch Thunderbird - Click on the "Write" button to create a new email. - Click on the body part of the mail in order to activate the spell-checker button - You should see a long list of "Spanish (AR), Spanish (BO), etc" instead of just "Spanish (AR)" and any other language you might previously had.

Hi! Our upstream for all hunspell spell-dicts is Fedora, it has the same way of handling it. Fedora installs all dialects of each hunspell-XX language. If you want to change it, then ask please Fedora guys. I think that it could be better to fix Mozilla apps for it (and show only the main dialect by default). Regards, hunspell dicts maintainer
