I just used the Media Manager to download all the repos after installing from the Live CD and only having the Core Updates to start with and if I didn't know exactly what I was looking at I'd probably have issues with the fact it shows me Backports, Testing, Debug, DebugTesting for every different type of repo (Core, Nonfree, Tainted, Core32bit)

Hi, Sorry that this enhancement proposal was overlooked. I agree that we could show information in a better way, although that might require adding some metadata to do so. I do think we need to show all the repos but we could do it better, for example in table where we would have lines for: - Core - Tainted - Non-free - 32-bit Core - 32-bit Tainted - 32-bit Non-free - Third party source X - Third party source Y And the columns would be: - Release - Updates - Updates Testing - Backports - Backports Testing Each intersection would contain a checkbox or a combobox... Assigning to Mageia Tools maintainer group to keep track of it until someday maybe someone, maybe me, writes a proper feature proposal for adding to a future Mageia release.

I think the table idea is elegant. > Each intersection would contain a checkbox or a combobox... It need to have three states disabled, enabled for install, enabled for install and updates Or like today two checkboxes: enabled, updates
