Description of problem: As subject. This message appears simultaneously with each flicker when a TV is connected to SVHS output. I have found the same bug in ArchLinux here :- https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/22967 and in Ubuntu here:- https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-ati/+bug/727979 Neither of which seem to have a definitive solution, although it seems not to be restricted to nouveau or nvidia. I have tried the earlier 2.6.37 kernel and kernel-linus but these make no difference.
A user in Arch Linux bug report has found that reverting mesa to 7.10.0 has resolved the issue. Since there has been no triage activity here, and after looking at the changelog for mesa I have added tv to cc list, Nouveau is still unusable with nvidia FX5600u.

Testing this again just now this seems to be fixed :-) The message:- "localhost kernel: [drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: Load detected on output B" ...now only appears once and the flicker has stopped, so a very recent update fixed this. There is also a comment in the ArchLinux bug a few minutes ago that reports it being fixed with recent updates, so closing as fixed,
