Description of problem: A user here at LinuxTag requested qlandkartegt for Mga1. This package is already present in Cauldron and it was present in Mdv2010.1. So the criteria for pushing it to updates_testing are fullfilled. I already submitted it to updates_testing. ***** qlandkartegt is a GPS device mapping tool This package was present in Mdv 2010.2 and can thus be added to Mga1 updates_testing. *****
Testing partially complete on i586 for the srpm qlandkartegt-1.4.0-1.1.mga1.src.rpm I've been able to load geo data downloaded from http://www.openstreetmap.org/ but it would be preferable if someone with a gps device could confirm it's working with such a device. If we can't find someone with such a device to test it, this testing will be considered enough testing, as this is a leaf package with no impact on the rest of the system.

Testing x86_64 I've managed loading a gpx gps trace from http://www.openstreetmap.org/traces I can see details of the trace in the bottom left hand corner In the Setup options on the Device & Xfer all the device setting boxes are greyed out and it shows beneath the Waypoints button.. No plugins found. I expect them in: /usr/lib64/qlandkartegt I haven't been able to find a map to load to check that, openstreetmap is supposed to be supported but it is so far unable to load any that I've exported. I'm not sure how to use this properly though so it is likely operator error.
As we're unable to test further I'll validate this one. ***** qlandkartegt is a GPS device mapping tool This package was present in Mdv 2010.2 and can thus be added to Mga1. ***** qlandkartegt-1.4.0-1.1.mga1.src.rpm Could sysadmin please push from mga1 core/updates_testing to core/updates Thanks!
