Description of problem:
In the Configure Dolphin screen, under General/Context Menu, I've selected to show the 'Delete' item but it does not show up in the actual context menu.

Version-Release number of selected component:4.6.1-4.mga1

You can fix it by adding

[KDE]
ShowDeleteCommand=true

in ~/.kde4/share/config/dolphinrc

Currently it's in fact disabled by default.
