Description of problem: Waste of time I just watched a new kernel getting installed, which then triggered nvidia module rebuild (And also virtualbox module) - and later in same update session it retrieved a newer nvidia driver and rebuilt the nvidia driver again... Is it possible to add intelligence so it install all drivers and kernel directly in time after each other and to all compile *once* ?

Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja

Still valid for mga3 RC, i think. Did not actually pay much attention but i saw at least grub getting configured (initrd rebuilt?) both after some updates containing x11, and some packages later when new kernel was installed.
Assigning to kernel maintainer group for decision.
