Hi,

This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment.

Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2.

Thanks :)

Cheers,
marja

Testing mga2 64
Comment 8 claire robinson 2012-09-19 14:06:45 CEST
Before
------

# rpm -e --nodeps php-gd
Reloading httpd configuration (via systemctl): [ OK ]
# rpm -q php-curl
package php-curl is not installed

# urpmi --searchmedia "Core Release" owncloud

Browsed to http://localhost/owncloud/

Configured admin account and left sqlite and default storage options.

Clicked the little up arrow and added a couple of images, clicked onto the gallery and verified there are no thumbnails. Clicking rescan also sits at 0% creating thumbnails.

After
-----

# urpmi owncloud
In order to satisfy the 'php-gd' dependency, one of the following packages is needed:
1- php-gd-5.3.15-1.mga2.x86_64: GD extension module for PHP (to install)
2- php-gd-bundled-5.3.15-1.mga2.x86_64: GD extension module for PHP (to install)
What is your choice? (1-2) 1
To satisfy dependencies, the following packages are going to be installed:
  Package Version Release Arch
(medium "Core Updates")
  php-curl 5.3.15 1.mga2 x86_64
  php-gd 5.3.15 1.mga2 x86_64
(medium "Core Updates Testing")
  owncloud 3.0.2 1.1.mga2 noarch
202KB of additional disk space will be used.
2MB of packages will be retrieved.
Proceed with the installation of the 3 packages? (Y/n) y

Confirmed the thumbnails now display when clicking into the album.

Checked with depcheck and no linking required.

Testing complete mga2 32

Good job Alfonso. For future updates though could you please provide a list of rpms and srpms and a suggested advisory when assigning to QA. It is quite straightforward here though luckily.

You can find an example of the details to leave on the updates policy wiki page here:

https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Updates_policy#Maintainer_.28or_any_interested_packager.29

Thanks :)
