Description of problem: When using gnome live cd, no easy link is provided to do the install. One has to go deep in the application menu to find "live install". On KDE, there is a short cut on the desktop. It can be done similarly on the gnome live cd (there is an option in "advanced settings">"Desktop" to "Have the file manager handle the desktop". Then the only missing bit is to add the shortcut in the Desktop directory. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): pre-release Mageia 2 Gnome x86_64 Asia no india and possibly others. How reproducible: everytime. Steps to Reproduce: 1. start live cd 2. look for an easy way to do live install 3. there is nothing on the desktop, it is lost in the application menu.

so for enable the icon we can have gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.background show-desktop-icons true but for add the draklive.desktop in Desktop I don't know and maybe a little to late btw, it's in the errata

Adding the draklive.desktop in Desktop should not be too hard: it's already done on the kde live cd. Maybe it's a very small fix.
