I'am not sure I understand, you mean you see icons with different resolution if you use alt + tab ? so in which desktop, and what icon/apps ? if it's in gnome, yes indeed it seems we should add svg like in other gnome3 apps (but you can see the same from other apps), this is more something for upstream imho (have not check yet)
