Description of problem: When i active visual keyboard, session crash and closes. I can't re-open session live because it crashes immediately Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Gnome 3 Mageia 2 RC in liveCD How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1.Launch live session 2.Active visual keyborad in accessibility 3.Session crash and close
It was working for me in a installed session. Have you some logs in .xsession or dmesg| tail ? maybe it's another missing rpm.

Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja

Valid still in Pre Mga3 alpha 1 (4th build)
Once this crashes a 2nd time, gdm does not start so the system has to be rebooted from tty2. rpm -qa | grep carib libcaribou0-0.4.3-1.mga3 libcaribou-gir1.0-0.4.3-1.mga1
erm mga3 above not mga1 :\
A workaround is to log in again with gnomeclassic, which doesn't crash, and disable the On Screen Keyboard from the gnome system settings.
libcaribou0 should now require caribou in Cauldron. I need to still push this as update for Mageia 2.
Tested with Pre-release Mga3 alpha 1 DVD i586 with a default Gnome installation (4th set), the bug is valid in the ISOs so far.

$ rpm -q lib64caribou0-0.4.4.2-1.mga3 --requires caribou I don't get why it would not be installed.
will test beta1 asap, to see if it is still valid
seems ok
