This bug is still present on todays dvd iso.
Thd.is but is still present in todays dvd iso. This time, after I rebooted, I ran urpmi --auto-select to see if there were any other conflicts. The same version of pyatspi installed ok, because python-at-spi had already been updated. Looks like the python-at-spi package will have to be on the iso images to allow pyatspi to be update

python-at-spi is still not in the rc dvd iso. pyatspi is on the dvd, but it fails to install, since python-at-spi is not on the dvd. The impact of this is that python-braille, orca, wpa_supplicant, dnsmasq-base, networkmanager, and task-gnome-minimal also fail to install.

ping ?
Sorry, I have to redo the dvd install to check this. I'll do that right now. Takes about 90 minutes.
Created attachment 2289 [details] compressed ddebug.log The updating works if I use auto select with the online repositories, so it must be an order of installation problem.

is this related to bug 5687 ?

It seems to be a problem of either missing requires or obsoletes. With the latest dvd, the upgrade went into "one big transaction", so there was no problem. When the upgrade is done with individual transactions, the order of installation matters for these two packages. The package pyatspi and the package python-at-spi need to be installed in the same transaction.
Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja
