Description of problem: Doing network install (boot.iso), after having configured network and source and it proceeds to retrieve stage2: i see: Proceeding, please wait... and then about 30 identical lines like this: libkmod: index_mm_open: major version check fail: 65537 instead of 2953311319 Then it get into graphic part, i select language, and then it fail on drive, but i think that is a separate issue: bug 5667. Identical behavoiurs on 32 as 64 bit boot.iso and sources, and i also md5-checked the download and issued sync and unmounted the USB.
Looking in Alt-F1 i see many such lines were output before "The XKEYBOARD compiler reports" and after "Entering step 'Hard drive detection' "

That's unrelated, this is just a warning

OK, I get the same libkmod lines on my Lenovo Thinkpad T61. (but not bug 5667) Even if it do not affect operation, I would *not* say it is INVALID. It is much easier for us testers and bug squad if it would not spit out unimportant messages that for non experts on that issue look like it may be a problem. It is not looking polished, and it disturbs testing and reporting. I suggest setting it as low pri minor bug.
