Description Kristoffer Grundström 2012-04-25 17:04:54 CEST
Description of problem: I went to the mozilla github to see if I was to be successfull in compiling & building my own version of Firefox. After I've downloaded the code & read the README.txt I went to the instruction page to build Firefox. I ran make -f client.mk & ran into this error from the beginning.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): git-version

How reproducible: Everytime.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Terminal.
2. Type git clone git://github.com/mozilla/mozilla-central.git and press Enter.
3. Type cd mozilla-central
4. Type make -f client.mk
5. Voila!

are bogus?
Comment 5 Sander Lepik 2012-04-25 18:39:42 CEST
There are nightly builds for that. And you should really read the manual. You are missing configuration file for compiling. It's not as simple as you state in your report.

Comment 6 Kristoffer Grundström 2012-04-25 19:03:13 CEST
Aren't Nightly builds supposed to be unstable/untested?
Comment 7 Manuel Hiebel 2012-04-25 19:07:50 CEST
it's more stable than your build...

and please don't copy paste so much debug (furthermore here it's n time the same)
