Description Dave Hodgins 2012-04-24 22:50:10 CEST
Before starting VirtualBox, I always check to ensure all cpu/memory intensive
applications and services are stopped. Usint htop sorted by RSS showed
/etc/X11/X was using 150M for RSS. After restarting the x server, it was back
down to 32068 bytes for RSS.

When x was at 150M Uptime: was 1 day, 17:53:29.

Memory is given back to OS when freeed.
It's just keeped in free memory pool of X11-server.
It would be a buf if RSS would keep growing.

Resolution: (none) => INVALID
Status: NEW => RESOLVED
