lxpanel: option to configure tooltip (and help message about format strings) in settings dialog of clock applet are sometimes missing. The literal string "\n" in the help string (to tell user how to get newline) is *always* missing. This is in Mageia 2 Beta 3 w/ current updates. How reproducible: Bug seems to appear only after moving lxpanel to different, vertical screen edge. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Mga 2 Beta 3 Live CD GNOME-Europe1-Americas-x86_64, lang German 2. Install task-lxde 3. Update all packages 4. Log into LXDE Variant A: 5. Move lxpanel to a vertical screen edge. 6. Right-click on clock applet -> choose clock settings: option to configure tooltip and help message are missing. (Fixed sometimes after repeating 6. once, sometimes only after logging out and in again.) Variant B might be of interest for debugging: 5. In terminal: killall lxpanel 6. In terminal: lxpanel --log 5 or lxpanel --log 5 --profile LXDE 7. Right-click on clock -> choose clock settings: Dialog is empty except for "bold" checkbox. 8. Close dialog. 9. Repeat 7.: Complete dialog as expected. (There is no output in the terminal.)
I can't reproduce here (virtualbox)

Reproducing here, looking into it

The missing "\n" was a wrong syntax in quite some po files. Fixed now, the other issue has still to be looked at.
Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja
