Description of problem: Upon bootup, under Gnome 3, I am automatically logged in to my account. No users on the computer are set to automatically log in. Also, once logged in, the keyrign isn't automatically unlocked, as it would if my account was set to auto-login. If I log out the login window shows the login screen as expected. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Very Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start up computer and select Mageia from the grub menu 2. Watch it automatically login the main account on the computer.
I noticed this too in pre release testing beta 3 but didn't have time then to rule out operator error. Just out of interest, are you using or did you use the 'Boot from Hard Disk' option on the installation medium?

I installed from the live disc's "install" option (with the xdriver=nouveau option added). after the install, I boot from the hard disc directly. All packages are up to date.
I think it was the LiveCD I installed from too in VirtualBox. The notes are gone now so I can't check.
Yes the livecd use the autologin, tmb, blino, maybe we should disable that as default ? (you can disable it with drakboot)

I found where the bad setting is. It is within the auto-login tab of the boot section of Mageia control center... I am a bit new to mageia and just by luck stumbled on it.

Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja
