Description Morgan Leijström 2012-04-18 17:43:07 CEST
When not managing to bring up any network interface, the installer displays the following message:

  No NET device found.
Hint: If you're using a Laptop, note that
PCMCIA Network adapters are now supported
  either with 'pcmcia.img' or 'network.img'.
  please try both these bootdisks.
                           [OK]

Not finding these images i suppose this message should be updated to refer to
all.img and/or boot-nonfree.iso, and also suggest using the Live CD for best coverage of any drivers for network and graphics.

This was when using boot.iso, and also boot-nonfree.iso. Possibly also the DVD installer fail similarly if requesting to use network repos and fails initialising them?

Fixed in git.
The DVD installer wouldn't be affected, as stage1 would not have asked for this but would load the stage2 directly from the DVD.
