Description of problem: for trivial entirely non-urgent fix. Early after install, when I change to gdm using MCC (to boot, to setup display manager), a popup message asks if I want to restart X. I accept this, but X doesn't restart. This is a minor but extremely longstanding failure since time immemorial in Mandriva, carried on to Mageia. I don't think this has _ever_ worked. It always comes up fine after rebooting the computer, so this is a tiny loose end worth fixing if someone has an idle moment. Not important when we are about to get M2 out! Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja
