Description Georges Eckenschwiller 2012-04-17 20:21:38 CEST
Description of problem:
I make a net - install.
The stage 1 takes place normally.
The stage 2 is loaded:
- Choice of the language.
- Acceptance of the license.
- IDE configuration.

The following window shows:
Interface détectée "nVidia Corporation|nForce2 IDE"
This is correct. I valide.

The following window shows:
Une erreur est survenue : aucun périphérique valide n'a été trouvé pour créer de nouvelles partitions.

I tried with another hard disk, but the result is similar.

Impossible to continue the tests.

A precision: to beta2 I had no this problem.
Comment 2 Manuel Hiebel 2012-04-17 20:37:50 CEST
if you add rdloaddriver=ata_piix in the kernel line at the stage1 does it works ?

Summary: No valid peripheral => No valid peripheral found (for the file-system)

Comment 3 Georges Eckenschwiller 2012-04-17 21:18:47 CEST
Thank you.

The option did not resolve the problem.

On the other hand, it reminded me that the boot.iso image must not be too old.
I burnt thus with the boot.iso last one.
The problem is resolved.

Status: NEW => RESOLVED
