Description Andrew 2012-04-10 22:48:02 CEST
Description of problem:

Regardless of settings used, wireless adapter is unable to connect to any access point within the installer and therefore unable to update itself from the installer. Wireless adapter functions normally upon booting into Cauldron immediately after installation.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Mageia 2 Cauldron Beta 2

How reproducible:

Always upon changing Network Connection from ethernet to wlan0 (wireless) in installer. If it matters, the adapter is Atheros Communications Inc. AR928X Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express).

When using a wired connection, it claims no updates can be found.

since the drakxinstaller use the kernel, the beta2 has the same bug than your previous one (bug 5325)
