Description of problem: Considering I have just used some 2gig of expensive satellite download capacity to get the files to install in a spare partition, I had expected them to still be available for use on other machines without having to download them again. However, your install program, without notice or comment, just willy-nilly deleted them! I am less than impressed! I had been expecting them to be there and allow me to do a 'hard drive' sourced install across the internal network with the boot iso. Only one of my boxes has internet access! This means I cannot do a thorough test across the range of hardware I use and support unless I now work out what has come down and re-download them individually, and that will cost more capacity! Not very professional folks! Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): mageia2 wired How reproducible: always

drakx-installer-stage2 doesn't remove anything when performing a disk install.

a cutting from the install log..... and we are talking about a wired install to start with I had expected to be able to use the downloaded files for a disk install later. -------------------------------- retrieving rpm files from medium "Core Release"... retrieved glibc-2.14.1-7.mga2.i586.rpm libdb4.8-4.8.30-8.mga2.i586.rpm perl-5.14.2-6.mga2.i586.rpm perl-Archive-Cpio-0.90.0-1.mga2.noarch.rpm dash-static-0.5.7-1.mga2.i586.rpm libgdbm4-1.10-1.mga2.i586.rpm perl-base-5.14.2-6.mga2.i586.rpm libtermcap2-2.0.8-50.mga1.i586.rpm ...retrieving done installing glibc-2.14.1-7.mga2.i586.rpm dash-static-0.5.7-1.mga2.i586.rpm perl-Archive-Cpio-0.90.0-1.mga2.noarch.rpm perl-5.14.2-6.mga2.i586.rpm libdb4.8-4.8.30-8.mga2.i586.rpm perl-base-5.14.2-6.mga2.i586.rpm libgdbm4-1.10-1.mga2.i586.rpm libtermcap2-2.0.8-50.mga1.i586.rpm from /mnt/var/cache/urpmi/rpms starting installing packages created transaction for installing on /mnt (remove=0, install=0, upgrade=8) dash-static-0.5.7-1.mga2.i586 glibc-2.14.1-7.mga2.i586 libdb4.8-4.8.30-8.mga2.i586 libgdbm4-1.10-1.mga2.i586 perl-base-5.14.2-6.mga2.i586 perl-5.14.2-6.mga2.i586 perl-Archive-Cpio-0.90.0-1.mga2.noarch libtermcap2-2.0.8-50.mga1.i586 removing installed rpms (glibc-2.14.1-7.mga2.i586.rpm dash-static-0.5.7-1.mga2.i586.rpm perl-Archive-Cpio-0.90.0-1.mga2.noarch.rpm perl-5.14.2-6.mga2.i586.rpm libdb4.8-4.8.30-8.mga2.i586.rpm perl-base-5.14.2-6.mga2.i586.rpm libgdbm4-1.10-1.mga2.i586.rpm libtermcap2-2.0.8-50.mga1.i586.rpm) from /mnt/var/cache/urpmi/rpms -----------------------------------------
