Description of problem: Autologin was available for mageia1 for setting up a desktop. It hasn't been included for Mageia2 and the setting hasn't been included when the mkuser step is reached. Could this be re-included as available, as it saves an extra step for each new/rebuilt workstation later.
autologin is in the dvd, see http://distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr/pub/linux/Mageia/iso/cauldron/Mageia-2-beta2-x86_64/Mageia-2-beta2-x86_64-DVD.idx

sorry, but it isn't included in the 'wired' network based system anymore. And that was the one I used. Also, as a FYI Your alpha/beta DVD's are too large and too expensive for downloading, especially via satellite. Someone needs to rethink the alpha/beta program so that the CD/DVD covers the core only and let the extras, like the apps be individually picked and downloaded later, anything over 2gig is rediculous for testbed processing, 1.5gig or less, I would have thought more tollerable! This is the major reason why I decided not to take part in your testing/qa processes, it's not economically viable for us in australia unless in a major city and on a great wage, and most of us are neither.
ok, I guess it's a regression in the installer (off-topic: liveCDs (700Mo) are again available for the comming beta3 (and maybe the dual too) but indeed I can understand :) )

We didn't offer autologin setting in mga1 when creating users. As we didn't @mdv. At least since 2007 (I don't remember before and I didn't bother checking earlier)

funny, my Mageia 1 Linux Magazine (sep 11) dvd has it included, which is why I expected it to be in mageia 2.
