Anssi, do you want a separate bug for the mga2 package or should this be marked as a duplicate of 3044?

Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja

I can confirm the bug on MGA2-64. The rpm of flashplugin seems not available also from the adobe website.

Today I tried to install the flash plugin from rpm on a Mageia 2 64 bits freshly installed a few days ago. Jedan, sounds like you don't have "Nonfree Updates" repository enabled, so it tries to download an old package. Go to the media setup in Package installer and ensure Nonfree Updates is checked.
Hello, I just checked. It is already checked. :-/

is this bugreport still valid for you ?

As far as I know, nothing has been done to address issues in this package. My comment in the other bug is still relevant AFAIK: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3044#c17
As the report in the description, and in comment 9, are both problems with curl: (6) Couldn't resolve host 'fpdownload.macromedia.com' is this a proxy issue, that aria2c handles but curl doesn't?
CC: (none) => davidwhodgins
curl does indeed have proxy issues.
