In this dialog, which comes up the first time you launch Amarok, it asks you to select which country you are in for the purposes of matching up with Amazon's MP3 store. The entire sentence on the dialog cannot be read because it is too short. It needs to be a little bit taller. Also, the default country selected is France. I know the Mageia founders hail from there, but given that en_US.UTF-8 is the default locale, I don't know that that should be the default country.
I guess the country selection is not an upstram bug (and I found nothing at bugs.kde)

I just tested with a new account; the Country combobox doesn't have a country selected by default, and the country list is in upstream order. https://projects.kde.org/projects/extragear/multimedia/amarok/repository/revisions/master/entry/src/services/amazon/AmazonConfigWidget.ui

I just tested on Fedora 17 beta KDE Live, and Amarok has exactly the same behaviour on Fedora. It's really an upstream bug.
Hi, This bug was filed against cauldron, but we do not have cauldron at the moment. Please report whether this bug is still valid for Mageia 2. Thanks :) Cheers, marja

I believe this to be fixed in current versions of Amarok. (I checked with Dutch locale). Please reopen if the problem is still observable.
